Noisy The machine is as loud as a portable fan, but this doesnt make any of them stop admiring the job it performs. Gladly the machine doesnt vibrate, only creating white noise as it blows air out of the top.
Frequent bucket emptying Considering its small size you have to empty the bucket approximately every 8 hours. The only option you have to overcome this matter is to hook up a drain hose and locate the unit somewhere near a sink or drain. However, keep in mind that drains on portable dehumidifiers are gravity fed, not pumped.
Please note that Frigidaire 25-Pint blows the exhaust air straight up out of the top, you may want to check whether this condition is alright for you or not before purchasing, because some people like a unit which blows the exhaust out of the side instead of out of the top.
